Flight across Canada: Cancelled

July 11, 2014 Leave a Comment

I missed Fox (CF-UVZ) working in Toronto for a year. She stayed alone at home in CYBW. I stayed in Toronto.

We never saw each other.

The simple solution was to bring Fox out to Toronto – then I could fly a few times per week.

Simple Plan

Take a long weekend June 27 – June 30th to relocate to Buttonville (CYKZ). With lots of bail-out options. Drop Fox Winnipeg, Thunder Bat or St. Sault Marie and come back for the next weekend.

The sketch plan

  • June 27 CYBW (Springbank) to CYQR (Regina) / CYxx (Winnipeg)
June 28 CYQR (Regina) / CY (Winnipeg) to CYZK (Thunder Bay) / CYxx (St Sault Marie)
June 29 CYZK (Thunder Bay) / CYxx (St. Sault Marie) to CYKZ (Buttonville)
    June 30 Spare Day

Roughly three equal legs. On par with the longer legs of the Yukon/Alaska trip with Terry. Each about 50% longer than I have flown Fox in a day.

Sadly a problem at the start of the trip has cancelled this journey.
